This afternoon myself husband and gran daughter went to the fort for afternoon tea,asked the person on the gate if we needed to pay to come in to the cafe ,he kept telling us if we just wanted tea to go down to the little tea shop on the pier.we told him that my father was, stationed here during the war and would like to show his great gran daughter, to which he replied first or second world war anyone with half a brain would realise that would make me over 100 years old if it was the first world war so we went else where for afternoon tea.
